An electrophysiology study is a test performed to assess a patient’s heart’s electrical system or activity and is used to diagnose abnormal heartbeats or arrhythmia. The heart’s system produces signals that control the heartbeats. Due to this study heart doctors can create an exact map of how these signals are responsible to move between each heartbeat. Sometimes its also done to predict or know the risk of sudden cardiac death. WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF IVUS?
